My primary interest is in transportation economics. My job market paper investigates the existence of a truck driver shortage, and evaluates some of the policies proposed to alleviate the shortage. I am interested in continuing to work on estimating the cost of congestion in the US on shipping rates. I have future plans to work on maritime transportation and other shipping modes. Other general interests include: Labor, Trade and IO.
